Hotels & Resorts

In the years leading up to South Africa hosting the 2010 FIFA World Cup, Nic Louw was the consulting architect for a major hotel group. As such he was involved with the renovation and upgrading of many of their existing hotels, as well as the establishment of new hotels.

With the increase in the tourism industry in South Africa, after isolation, Nic Louw was involved in the design of numerous guest houses, resorts, spas and game lodges.

As game lodges are usually established in ecologically sensitive areas, Nic's interest in the outdoors and nature have stood him in good stead. As ecological issues and care for the environment are becoming paramount, staff members of Nic Louw Architects, have attended courses in the design of energy efficient buildings and, as such, are deemed competent in the design of such buildings.
